Re: 1996 850 Wagon - Water Leak in tailgate area
Forgot to mention that I can't get to the sunroof drains, because my sunroof is out of commission due to a broken right side rail. For now it's sealed up with tape.

Re: 1996 850 Wagon - Water Leak in tailgate area
Thank you guys for your responses. I checked the tailgate drain holes and they appeared to be clear. The gaskets around the tailgate opening and the tailgate itself seems to be good. Is there supposed to be a gap in the gasket across the top of the opening though? On the corner gaskets near the hing...

Re: 1996 850 Wagon - Water Leak in tailgate area
Thanks for the reply!
Where exactly are the tailgate drains?
I will be checking all the seals today.
Is it possible to plumb the sunroof drains with a hanger or a long ziptie or something like that?
Thanks!

1996 850 Wagon - Water Leak in tailgate area
Hey there, Got a 1996 850 Turbo, and I'm having a horrible time with moisture. Replaced the heater core, had a broken sunroof track that was preventing dealing, so that is sealed close for the moment. That fixed things for awhile, but the problem has slowly gotten worse. Long story short, the car wa...

Re: 96 855t, Rounded caliper bracket bolt, front left.
I'very had success with WD40 and heat before. I didn't have any PB Blaster on hand. Should went and grabbed some. I installed the new caliper on the old bracket. Not sure if I'm gonna send the new bracket back for the core charge, or keep it if I can somehow get that bolt off someday. Eventually I'l...

96 855t, Rounded caliper bracket bolt, front left.
Bout to kick the car off the jack stands over here. What was supposed to be a 1.5 hour job has turned into a nightmare, with the sun about to set in 45 minutes. Been hitting this bolt with wd40, heat from a propane torch, my 2 foot breaker bar, and I just rounded the bolt. Aside from taking the whee...

Re: New front brake caliper, bad piston seal??
Well, good news is that I reseated the piston boot. The bad news is that I can't for the life of me loosen up the top bolt on the caliper bracket. I'm on my way to get a torch and hit it with some heat. It's soaking in WD40 right now, but if this fails, I'm not sure what I will do...leave the old br...

Re: New front brake caliper, bad piston seal??
Is there a way to push out the piston without an air compresser?
I reconnected the caliper to the brake line to stop it from leaking. Can I push it out using the brake pedal?

New front brake caliper, bad piston seal??
Hey guys, I'm replacing my front brake calipers today, and got some reman from FCP. Looks like the piston boot/seal isn't seated properly on the front right one. I'll attach a picture. If I go ahead and install it, will it reseat itself or am I just asking for trouble? Is there a way I can reseat th...

Re: 96 855t, ABS/TRACS lights, weird buzz and pedal feedback
Can I clean the reluctance rings and ABS sensor with carb cleaner? Or just hitch a ride to autozone and grab some brākleen? I checked out the sensor connections and they seem fine. Is there a way to clean the sensor itself without removing the calipers? The left front bolts would NOT budge. May have...
