Was working fine, probably was 3-4 months since I used it last.

Reinstalled it but no joy

I cannot bring up any parts or maintenances diagrams on VADIS.

All I get is the error code as seen in the attachment

I did get a message saying Abs/anti skid but only popped up once and has now gone.

The regular service message is on and the reset wont work and throws up a 045 code, if that's any indication.

Will a speed sensor throw up any messages on the dash?

My 2002 S80 is having Traction Control issues.

Going around corners/roundabouts low speeds 20/30 mph the traction control kicks in and i have to accelerate hard to cancel it out. if i drive fast around the corner or bend it will not kick in :-/

Any ideas?

I have the same issue on my 02 S80 Shoes and disc's are new but will only hold in reverse!! Stretched cable seems to be the problem. Try putting a spacer below the nut on the adjuster, tighter the nut onto the spacer and this should pull the cables more and you should be able to get a good handbrake...

Cruise Control button on steering wheel
Clutch position sensor
Master cylinder diaphragm position sensor

I'm Looking at a 2002 2.4 Diesel Auto S80 in a few days

Is there anything to look out for that the petrol does not have??

Do the diesels suffer from any throttle problems?

I miss auto and this has leather So I have my mind set on this car ( Or any diesel auto S80)

I bought a used CPS sensor off ebay. The one inside above accelerator pedal Put it in but i am still getting the p0808 code position sensor high?? If i erase the codes and put my foot on the clutch it shows no fault :shock: So is the sensor faulty or have i further issues. My cruise control will not...

Soooo after feeling stupid for several days ha i found the problem.

1) As my near side wheel was spinning i noticed a bubble appearing in the tyre so that's one issue.

2) The bolt on the new cv joint had snapped?? God know how?

So after new Tyres and new cv bolt the car is once again sorted :/
