I rarely do this kind of electrical work so I don't think I want to buy a volt meter. But you are fairly certain the yellow/violet is the proper one? Don't want to end up with another drained battery...

I am trying to install the Blitzsafe auxiliary adapter into my 2000 XC70 volvo. I have a SC-186 head unit which means it should work.
