I just wanted to finish this thread by saying that the factory paid for the new radiator and tranny replacement. Everything seems to be working fine in the car a month after the work being done.

I just got a call from the dealer and I'm shocked. They are going to change radiator AND tranny free of charge. They dealt with factory rep and made that deal. I guess that the factory rep should have asked for what MIJ and Sony said (change radiator, do a flush, test tranny) but I don't really care ...

Sony2000. What would be the right tests to find out if the tranny is kaput? I want to ask them what they did and how they got those results. I'm guessing the people at the dealer also read this forum so, guys, you can answer that here.
