i agree with keith, you'll need a hydraulic press to do the job yourself. I had to torch one a bit just to get it out.

i had an 850 with the exact same issue. Ended up being a faulty sensor, try hooking it up to an obd-ii. Auto Zone will scan for free. Very annoying, good luck, want to hear the results.

Hmmm, maybe it's the groove the recognition system looks for (uneducated guess).
I would just make sure to have vehicle information and even better to have the vehicle itself, if you are going through a dealer it should not be a problem.

Hello everyone, I have a 2001 S40 1.9T with 160K miles. Currently the vehicle will start but will not idle, and if I keep my foot on the gas it will not stall, as soon as I let off the gas the car immediately stalls.
I am getting the following codes:

P0015 : B Camshaft Position Timing Over ...

I am having similar problem, however I eventually could get the car started it just will not idle. Did you try giving it gas while starting? An OBDII scan might help tell you if a sensor is malfunctioning. I am thinking mine is the Idle Control Valve stuck or broke but not ruling out fuel injection ...
