Thanks precopster, i never imagined that could be the case but i'll drain the oilpan, clean the plugs, and see if she will start. Thanks again for putting me on the right track.

Thanks precopster, but how would oil get in the chamber that houses the coil bottom and plug? The filler cap directs oil right to the valvetrain then to the oil pan. Your right about allowing the oil to drain into the cylinders, that was dumb, but I was so surprised at what I found and the quantity ...

I'm totally flumuxed. I have a 2000 S80 2.9 that has been sitting for a year. I went to start it and it would turn over but not start. I pulled the coil cover and there was oil on top the head. Then i pulled out a coil and the area was filled with oil to the top of the sparkplug! This was true on fo...
