Re: VIDA 2014D_Repack install on Windows 10, any version.
Was informed a separate piece of software is required in Windows 7 in order to access a .iso file. Working on that.

Re: VIDA 2014D_Repack install on Windows 10, any version.
Thank you for laying this out - I had to replace my old Toshiba and the DVD I have won't install on the new (old) Satellite (Windows 7, 64bit) I bought to replace it, so I followed your directions in the first post & downloaded the .iso & the patch. Problem I have, is I can't left click on t...

Re: Help with powering S60 seat -- Not in a Car
Just to wrap up my install - the finished passenger seat, working & installed with new leather. Since I'm likely to add more gray interior parts over time I went with a beige/grey combo. Still have to heat the leather some more to get the remaining wrinkles out https://i.postimg.cc/9WZQyFJy/temp...

Re: Help with powering S60 seat -- Not in a Car
Wrapped this up (finally). I tried a number of ways to connect the center pins of SW4 to the fore/aft motor (A2), without much success. I found that spiking the center pin to the adjacent power pin would bring the circuit alive - but only long enough to move the motor briefly. I repeatedly spiked th...

Re: Help with powering S60 seat -- Not in a Car
So, working on the switch today - I had it hooked up to the seat & powered. I figured out that the switch power & ground circuit is activated by the switched power on the secondary connector (B1) . Using a test light, I confirmed the (+) switching action (purple tracer). I tried activating t...

Re: Help with powering S60 seat -- Not in a Car
Like Bornhall, I am using 2012 C30 (P1) power/memory seats in a non-factory install (1991 Volvo 743) https://xwebforums.com/forum/index.php?attachments/pxl_20240918_220912886-jpg.89591/ I had previously modded Honda S2000 seats to fit the 740 seat tracks, however they are just not as comfortable or ...

Re: 98 V70XC AWD to FWD conversion
No can do on the ECU/TCU swap. Only 98 ECU/TCU can be used in a 98. '00 DP is ANGLE FLANGED, as you described. Yours is not. Unless you plan to install a ANGLE FLANGE turbo (or at least hotside), that won't work either. You will find that the AG will also be in the way, since '00 has a shorter overa...

Re: Drivers side door stop
I've seen this issue many times. It's amazing how many responders didn't READ the OP's post & just suggested replacing the door stop. Removing the entire door is very simple, as already described. Welding the seam is a permanent repair. Normal welding precautions are all that is required to prev...

Re: 1998 Volvo v70 xc - awd fuel pump issue?
Indeed. That right side feeder is a concern. I'll see how it plays out. I'm counting on the higher volume return helping in terms of fuel transfer from the left saddle. I can always add a low pressure, high volume in tank pump on that side to push fuel over to the right saddle. I'm stuck around 425W...
