Hi to all,
On my fathers 99 S80 with 2.4 petrol engine I need to replace the battery.
Since he uses the car rarely, I am wondering if I can install a bigger batter for example 80Ah with 750A. The factory one is 70Ah with 640A.
Has anyone done this before?

Very well done man, I did not think there was anyone else as meticulous with their car as I am,I do the exact same procedures when detailing my cars.Getting my wife's C70 Convertible done now. Hi Tarkin, It`s not unusually on most S80 that they don`t tilt immediately, and sometimes you have to push the button twice to tilt the mirrors. From my experience things that you should check are: Air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition coils,clogged fuel system, fuel injector o-rings, fuel injectors, throttle module, o2 sensors, pcv clogged. Today was my final day with the S80 and I pushed it till max, it went up to almost 250 km/h, then I put it on axle stands wheels off and gave it an 5 hour wash before giving it back to my dad.
