Re: P1672 code with CEL, runs well (Solved)
OK, it's been several days and about 200 miles since the new CVVT solenoid and no CEL. Previously it would throw codes within 30 miles or so. I am assuming my problem is solved

Re: P1672 code with CEL, runs well
Hi guys,
I have been crazy busy the last couple weeks and haven't been on here, but my new (used) CVVT solenoid came yesterday and the gasket got here today, so it is now installed and I cleared the CEL. Wish me luck

Re: P1672 code with CEL, runs well
Thanks.
I was hoping for something simple, i.e.cheap, but this IS a Volvo after all
. After looking at the usual places ($200+) I think I'll take your route and try a used one.

P1672 code with CEL, runs well
Hi all, 2000 V70 SE, NA, 173,000 miles. Just got this car for a steal and so far have solved most of the issues with it. One last problem is the CEL comes on and my OBD2 reader shows a P1672 code. While searching on here, and googling in general, I can find 2 completely different definitions of that...
