Re: S70/V70 Rear Heated Seats Article
I just found this option on an 1998 S70 GLT in the junkyard. Pulling the harness that runs along the console to the back seats from the center console was surprisingly easy . Don’t forget the relay. Pulled the rear lower and back seats too. Will use my leather instead when I install it. Never knew s...

Re: 98 S70T5 OEM Radiator or Aftermarket?
For something that needs to be made with the highest quality to protect the life of the engine, I'd go OEM. I had an aftermarket one that lasted 13 months on a 12 month warranty. Perfect!! I now shop either IPD and FCP. If I need to buy a part that may unexpectedly fail, I go to FCP. You can't beat ...

Re: 99 Volvo s70 t5 what service manual to use ?
I just did them 2 weeks ago and you must have the following. Get yourself a can of penetrating oil, breaker bar, and 4 foot pipe. I got the pipe from Home Depot that is sold as a whole piece. The pipe slid over the breaker bar and really helped in giving you leverage to remove the 36mm hub wheel nut...

Re: Problem after radiator replacement S70 T5
Found out that I do have the purple hose connected to the right spot. Next comes the vacuum leak test. Can't believe i am having problems after just replacing the radiator. What's worse, is that I have to drive my wife's Murano to work tomorrow!

Re: Problem after radiator replacement S70 T5
Robert, big fan of your videos. I've done several of your repairs on my Volvo, and commented them under my name Sebastian. Seeing your video on the radiator install gave me the knowledge and comfort to do this myself over the long holiday. All went smooth until after 15 minutes taking my car out for...

Re: Problem after radiator replacement S70 T5
Thanks for the reply. The purple hose you have in the picture is it. Under the shroud I found a switch that has a white hose, that comes from the throttle box and a connector attached. It also had an empty pin spot to which I have attached the purple hose. Is that you have it connected? Tried starti...

Problem after radiator replacement S70 T5
After replacing my radiator on my Volvo S70 T5, I found myself with an idling problem. When I hit the gas, the rpms drop to about 400. My car was running great before but I think I may have pulled a hose by mistake taking out the radiator. I found a purple hose behind the fan with an elbow attached ...
