Does anyone know if a motor out of a non DSTC car work in my car that has DSTC. I've been getting the intermittent 0070 code which is happening more frequently and staying on longer. Can I assume that if I pull the seal that I will lose some fluid and by doing so it would be a good time to do a fluid change anyway?

Both boots are torn on torn on my driver's side axle. I'm contemplating on getting a replacement and DIYing this job. Would I need to also replace this (http://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-a ... -6843112-1) seal on the transmission?

It can be removed, but only after you do an air pump delete modification to the ecu. It will trigger the check engine light if you don't do the mod.
