It was the o ring. Replaced it, but along the way found the mechanic who replaced the pump also cross threaded it.

was able to establish a good connection however and my son is back on the road.

to update, it was a dead alternator, replaced by the shop and all it better.

Found the pump is leaking between the hard metal line at the top of the forward facing aspect of the pump and the soft hose that leads to the reservoir. There seems to be a slot/hole between the two that it's leaking from. Anyone have an idea why it would leak from there?

Thanks, Guessing these codes will be Volvo specific, not OBD and it produced no codes when I scanned it myself.
We're trying to work out getting it back to the shop now, but its snowing sideways here in WNY.

New to us but well maintained. Had the PS pump replaced yesterday then on the way home TRACS, SRS, ABS lights came on and the car started feeling like it was missing then would not rev at all. Towed home, charged overnight, started without problem, no warning lights, then after 10 minutes same issue...
