Re: Rear intake seal?
Thanks bskeels and Lee.....Yeah, I've added the the same seal in there as well. Just started the car and seems to be fine. Idle is the same as before and rev as normal so just need a test drive. No way to get the cover cap off without damaging it. This is the reason why they make the center out of r...

Rear intake seal?
Hi folks Can you please take a look at this picture and tell me if there is such a seal in the rear intake of my Volvo C70 2002 turbo? If there is, do I have to use the Volvo tool 9995919 to pry it out like the rear exhaust end? I am in the process of replacing front and rear intake and exhaust seal...

Re: 2002 C70 cv axle
So I have the chance to go under the car and was able to identify the part for the axles. Left Lobro P/N is P8689238 and the right is P8689239. My question is it possible for the axle grease to dry out since I checked and the boots on both side are all good with no tear or any grease on or around it...

Hi all Could you let me know if this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-Pair-Volvo-C70-series-Manual-4-speed-Auto-CV-Joint-Drive-Shafts-03-98-4-01-/290883524936 will fit in my 2002 C70 convertible? When I checked in VADIS, it did give me B5234T3 as the engine. Alternatively, could someone post the picture...

Re: Vacuum Hose Sizes, Total Lengths, and Sources?
Could someone be kind enough to give me the sizes and total lengths for a C70 2002? Cannot find the spec in VADIS at all. I plan to replace all the rubbers with silicone.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: 99' S80 T6 Cam Seal Replacement/ Oil Leak Repair,Timing,
Thank you Zachary for an awesome post. I have a few questions as I am attempting to service the PCV and run into a few problems taking the manifold off on my 2002 C70 2.3 Turbo convertible. 1) Do I have to remove the oil dipstick to remove the manifold? I have already loosen it. Oil dipstick.jpg 2) ...

There is no record of when the PCV was last serviced so I will do it since the car is 180K kms now.

Re: 2002 C70 Leak front cam seal
There was oil on top of the engine but I think that was from the oil filler cap since I replaced the cap rubber seal there is no more oil there. I also notice I may have the leak on the rear cam seal going by this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx7W0M99KzE so I will replace that as well. WIN_2...

Re: 2002 C70 Leak front cam seal
I wrote the cam seals DIY for 1998 S79, info in forum re Volvo vs SKF seals. Also wrote the tricks using PVC Coupler (plumbing part). Search for CVVT sprocket removal. There is a similar thread going on right now, see the links in that thread. I could not find the "CVVT sprocket" post at ...
