I installed the same Akebono ceramic pads you selected and mated them with Brembo rotors 45K miles ago on my 2001 V70 T5. I've been really happy with the combination. Braking is strong, pad and rotor wear has been minimal, and there is virtually no brake dust.

Old thread but I wanted to add thanks to the OP and a +1 for the solution. For me, dash/radio lights were illuminated but very dim, headlights remained on in parking mode, and front and rear fog lights were inop. A used headlight switch module from eBay was the fix for all of the above.
