Re: Volvo Bulb Guide and Cross-Reference
Long story short, I had a hard time finding 2821 bulbs. Both Wal-Mart and Canadian Tire listed the 2821 but neither stock them or could order them. Find a place that carries Sylvania or Eiko bulbs like Advance, Autozone, O'Reillys, and so on. Find what's local, check their website, do a search for ...

Re: E-brake stopped working after rear brake work...
The rear disc (foot brake) and rear drum (e-brake) are one piece. If they replace or resurface the rear discs, they have to remove them. Seldom can you do this without backing off the brake shoe adjuster so they contract because there's often a build up of dirt, rust, and or the shoes have worn into...

Re: 1995 855T Lower Brake Lights not working
Do they have two filaments or just one? Two means tail+brake One means tail only Almost. A single filament could be 21W (brake or reverse) or 5W (tail or park). See link below. They are two Filiment bulbs so I assume the are brake and running lights. I think the lower tails are supposed to be 1156?...

Re: 1996 GLT Wagon: Parking brake keeps loosening up
The interesting thing (and she noticed a month ago when coming back from a trip away) is that at least one side is (very) stuck (e-brake handle down and off) after the car sits a week+. She managed to unstick it by backing vigorously out of the garage, but I didn't need to go anywhere with that car...

Re: E-brake stopped working after rear brake work...
The rear brakes use pads. The parking brake (rear) uses shoes. Not uncommon for material on shoes to fall off after years. Cables also go. Do it right and pull the rear wheels, calipers, and discs to inspect, service and replace as needed. No amount of fiddling with the T50 adjuster will help if any...

Re: 99 S70 T5 Why are the rear disks bigger than the fronts
Even if the disc has a larger diameter, if the pads and caliper piston(s) is smaller than less braking power is developed. Imagine pinching a wagon wheel with your fingers versus a 12" disc with a hydraulic caliper. Same goes for when a different proportioning is used at the MC end.

Re: 1998 S70 T5 Towing another car
Most manuals are splash lubricated by sump in the gearbox. You should check with Miata experts on this to see if this is the case. If it is, tow away. False. You have to look at how it is "splash lubed" as they are seldom as simple as they appear. Most transmissions' gears are constant me...

Re: s70-What is the difference?FPR and fuel press.damper
A damper absorbs shocks , smoothing things out so 30-34-30-34 becomes 32-32-32-32 making for a more consistent blast of fuel. A regulator controls the level or amount , so only 34 makes it past even if 50 is on the inbound. Pulses come from the fuel pump as well as the injectors opening and closing...
