s60 p2402 high pump

I just got to fix a s60 t5 2014. It gave error p2402, my reader said high circuit for evap pump (leak detection pump), High can mean many things, not just high circuit resistance. It can also mean high current. I checked the fuse (maybe 39) 5 amp for sure. The relay is before the fuse. When I checke...

Re: Penzoil Synthetic from natural gas

Change it hot and often. I like dino at 3000 miles, shell
v70 98 265k miles. runs prefect, except for occasional loud one lifter click, comes and goes last 100k mile.

I rotated (adjusted) the white cam that drives the damper. The white cam seems the stay put with friction. Some tape should work if it is loose. For other dampers without the cam setup, I would use a 9 volt battery to adjust damper motor, and then mount the motor with electrically disconnected. Bill

Re: Climate Control

If it's the same as 1998 v70, then you are correct. I just had to pull mine, It didn't want to come off, without some gentle prying with screwdriver. My damper motor tested ok on bench. I didn't have flashing lights at startup, but the ECC failed to move the motor. As soon as I removed the damper, a...

Re: Engine died while driving and won't start.

You have oil in the distributor. clean the cap and electrodes. The cam seal probably fell out, remove the rotor and take a look.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Going to add pressure guage to crankcase, to check pressure during wot (wide open thro). Blew shaft seal from cam shaft recently. After that I'll check turbo pressure. Thinking I may neeed aux crankcase vent, (thinking with check valve). Was your seal dried to rock hard? If so it's not really a pre...
