FS A/C Compressor 2003-2007 P2 S60 S80 V70 XC70 XC90
I have a new in box AC compressor I bought from FCP Euro for my 04 XC70 and did not use. It is a Nissens 36001066 on FCP's website, and the box shows Nissens 89070. I paid $260.99 for it and I'll sell it for $100 plus shipping. Shipping won't be cheap as the original FCP box is big, it's heavy, etc....

Re: Belly pan fasteners?
Thanks Matthew, It took a while, but I did find them at that site. They are listed as "six point socket screws" at $2.87 each without much detail. It does appear that they do have a screw thread rather than a "machine" screw thread. And for the record, the belly pan is called a &...

Belly pan fasteners?
I just bought a 2012 XC70, and we are putting my 2004 XC70 with 290K miles out to pasture. The 2012 came without a belly pan. I've since acquired an aftermarket belly pan (hopefully it fits well) but I'm wondering what the stock fasteners are? Looking at the underneath, I can see some holes with wha...

Re: No luck with Tasca, need to order new lock cylinder keyed to VIN, good source?
End of the story. I don't like reading hanging threads. Anyway, I sucked it up and ordered the whole new lock cylinder pre-cut to my existing keys. After spending a good 1/4 of the value of the car, I had it home. Waited a week and got my courage up and got my Dremel out and tried the first bolt, on...

Re: No luck with Tasca, need to order new lock cylinder keyed to VIN, good source?
cn, believe me I read your post and was considering doing that. Someone else posted that after doing that they could not turn the key at all so I've hesitated. Anyway, today I pulled the plastic covers off my lock today and found the "relocker" pin rolling around in the bottom clamshell. I...

Re: No luck with Tasca, need to order new lock cylinder keyed to VIN, good source?
FYI, the Lisle price was bogus. I called back to order it, and spoke to another parts guy, who could not verify the price. After he dug around, apparently the $344 price was for a "door lock assembly" so the first parts guy I spoke to was clearly an idiot, because I never once mentioned an...

Re: No luck with Tasca, need to order new lock cylinder keyed to VIN, good source?
Hi Erik, just got off the phone with Lisle, thanks for the link. They quoted $344.45 coded to my VIN. I'm going to poke around the lock assembly a bit before I pull the trigger. Maybe I'll get lucky and find a loose widget rattling around in there. Just need to find some quality time in the garage....

Re: No luck with Tasca, need to order new lock cylinder keyed to VIN, good source?
The FCP part number does not appear to be the lock cylinder after I dug deeper. It seems to be the "housing" and not the cylinder itself. Regarding the bottom plate, that is my next move, I suppose.

Re: No luck with Tasca, need to order new lock cylinder keyed to VIN, good source?
So you are saying to just buy a new lock cylinder assembly, with its own key(s) and replace it, and just swap the blades on my fobs. OK, I guess I get that, but where to get a new lock cylinder assembly for a reasonable price?

No luck with Tasca, need to order new lock cylinder keyed to VIN, good source?
Hi folks. The ignition switch on my 04 XC70 is failing - and I've only just broken in the car with 285K (miles) on it :-). I've read most related threads on most boards and I'd like to order a new lock cylinder assembly which is keyed to my existing keys. Tasca was a recommended dealer to order this...
