Re: 2000 S80 ABS Module remanufacturers

These replacement Stainless Socket Head Cap Screws are typically sold to the trade and not readily available through retail channels. However, I can make them available for purchase if anyone is in need of them.

Re: 1999 S80 2.9 Front End Clunking Noise - Subframe O Ring Fix

Summary: Sorry that I forgot to post this earlier. However, I was not lucky enough to get away with just replacing the subframe bushings (O-Rings). The clunking noise was still there after replacement! Therefore, I replaced both left & right Strut assy's, upper spring seats and strut mounts at t...

OK!
However, what about the posting that you mentioned about rebuilding my own ABS module in the repair database? Do you know how I can find it?

Thanks again!!

Re: 2000 S80 ABS Module remanufacturers

Thanks MIJ!
I want to check the wheel sensors out first before I possibly remove and repair the ABS module.
By the way, can you lead me to the posting that you mentioned about rebuilding my own ABS module in the repair database. This would be very interesting to me as a point of reference.
Take care!

Re: 2000 S80 ABS Module remanufacturers

Dear MIJ, Thanks for the quick reply, BBA is so much less (see below)that I am not sure who to go with! Can you elaborate on your "hit or miss" statement". Any other suggestions? Thanks again. 1. Victor Rocha = $125 + S & H 2. BBA-reman = $69 + S & H 3. Modulemaster = $110 + S...

2000 S80 ABS Module remanufacturers

I would like to send my ABS Module to a remanufacturer to be tested and repaired/upgraded (if required). From my research on the web, I have found a list of many remanufacturers that provide this service. Below are three that appear to be established, however, their pricing differs among them. Does ...

Thanks again Omer! Very clear now! I was hung up on the words "Large Nut & Strut" and did not process that you meant the bolts that hold the strut tower "BRACE". I had Strut on my mind since I was hoping that its not them! I will check out the bolts that hold the strut tower ...

Hello Omer, Thanks for the quick reply! It's really nice of you to help out like this. Well, recently my local repair shop changed the stabilizers. The noise problem still existed. I then went back to him today and he replaced the subframe bushings and the noise problem is still haunting me! I guess...
