I don't know how much steam you were putting out when your hose blew, but I had steam from a cracked radiator destroy my secondary air solenoid. Likewise, the steam may have taken out your cooling fan relay. A new fan relay shouldn't be more than 10 dollars at Pull-a-Part and, personally, I'd gamble...
