Can I replace the entire Halogen light with an entire Volvo Xenon light?

If it IS do-able, what is involved?

Remove H, Install X, drive to dealer for programming change?

If there's a good how-to video on the steps, that would help, a lot.

I have looked, and as far as I can tell, it doesn't look bad.
When they refunded the cost of parts and labor, they removed the new ignition coils, but left the new spark plugs...

It sounds worse than when we brought it in, and after I got over the shock of the bad news, I realized that ...

The Check Engine light was on when I picked it up from the body shop.
It was NOT on when I dropped it off.

I was heading to Volvo any way, so I asked them to check it out.

Diagnosis the first - based on OBD
1 bad spark, 1 bad ignition coil, 1 bad antenna ring.

Recommendation:
5 new spark plugs ...

recent problems -
hesitant acceleration, and dip at 1800-2000 rpm, occasional irregular idle -

Indie Volvo Tech found some codes for Fuel Pressure Sensor, which he replaced.

low end acceleration still seems lacking and even when pushed, rpm tops out at 2500, as if needle were stuck. Can still ...
