Re: 2000 s80t6 P0102 ETM Throttle Body Issue RPM Surge
an update, i put on the xemodex etm/throttle body, replaced the solenoid, did the pcv breather box replacement and replaced the twin pipes for turbo exhaust...............cured the surging RPMs. (but, unfortunately, the car was then wrecked a few weeks later)

Re: 2000 s80t6 rpms jumping between 2k and 2.5k rpms
just an update - the xemodex throttle body / etm plus new solenoid did the trick and cured the surging rpm problem - but, then the car was wrecked - ouch - so, i'm trying to figure out whether to part out the car (including the throttle body) or fix it

Re: 2000 s80t6 how to remove front bumper and raise buckled
thanks - got the hood open, just ended up prying it open. so, now i need to figure out whether to try to fix it or not.
here's the engine post accident
any idea how easy/difficult it would be to repair the damage? (i've located a couple of same model cars being parted-out)

2000 s80t6 (171k miles); slight front damage; parting-out
i'm exploring parting out my 2000 s80t6 (171k miles). before the fender bender, i put in xemodex throttle body (etm) and new solenoid to fix pulsating throttle (known defect for this model). it was running great before the accident. i also put on new turbo exhaust plastic pipe (double barrel pipe on...

2000 s80t6 (171k miles); front end damagePARTS $400 Atlanta
I'm exploring selling as is, or fixing it up. before the fender bender (see pics), it was running great with recently installed xemodex throttle body (etm) and new solenoid (so the rpms don't modulate - a known defect with this model car). 171k miles. I recently installed new turbo exhaust pipes as ...

2000 s80t6 how to remove front bumper and raise buckled hood
we had a small fender bender. i'm trying to take the remaining front bumper off to get the hood up so i can decide whether to part it out or try to fix it. i did a lot of recent work on the s80t6 (like xemodex throttle body, new solenoid - so no pulsating throttle problem), so it was running great. ...

Re: 2000 s80t6 rpms jumping between 2k and 2.5k rpms
thanks - i bought all oem parts from volvo, so i don't think it's because of a cheap part (i guess a defect is possible). the jump and drop in rpms occurs at cruising speed, not when accelerating.

2000 s80t6 rpms jumping between 2k and 2.5k rpms
My 2000 s80t6 was shutting off and the RPMs were unstable at low RPM. I did the following to fix the problem: breather replacement kit (not sure if that's the right name for it), new mass air filter (maf), new cvvt solenoid (rewired as suggested on this site), and replaced the two larges plastic pip...

Re: Replacing CVVT Solenoid for Code P1332
nice thread! thanks! I replaced mine on my 2000 volvo s80t6, and i rewired it in the process as described above. I did this in conjunction with Mass Air Filter (maf) replacement and breather system redo (not sure that's the right phrase for it), in addition to replacing some top pipes. The RPMs quic...
