have you resolved this? looks to me like maybe you screwed either the cross shaped nut or top nut too tight... or both. plus the ends of the springs aren't lined up with the grooves in the strut and the spring seat. with the strut out of the car, it should be fully extended... but the pic shows the ...

sticker dash trim kits are personal choice... some hate them... some like them. I thought about buying the cheapy stuff from ebay... maybe aluminum looking ones. to match my (soon to be installed) R aluminum trim. Good thing is I got a black upper dash cover from the junkyard... and the vent covers ...

I think you can leave the date field. just have a hint it should be in: yyyy-mm-dd eg: 2017-01-01
