Re: 2002 Volvo V70 non turbo p0068 code Topic is solved

Well I figured it out, I wish someone would have pointed me in that direction earlier, but maybe this will help the next schmuck who has the issue, there's a vacuum line on the intake manifold, a few inches past the throttle body, it is connected to some sensor under the front upper radiator support...

Re: 2002 Volvo V70 non turbo p0068 code Topic is solved

Well pretty bummed out, sent the throttle body to xemodex, told them to test it to see if that was the issue and they said they'd run a test and if no faults found they'd charge me $75 plus the shipping, well apparently it had faults, so they sent it back fixed and the car still has the huge hesitat...

Re: 2002 Volvo V70 non turbo p0068 code Topic is solved

Well a new maf didn't do much, perhaps marginally better but far from drivable, didn't drive it long enough for it to throw a code, when the gas pedal was stepped on there was a huge hesitation before rpms climbed.

Must be the ETM at this point, I will pursue further repair options.

Re: 2002 Volvo V70 non turbo p0068 code Topic is solved

Hmm okay, thanks for the help, I'll try the maf first and if that doesn't fix it I'll look in to the ETM

2002 Volvo V70 non turbo p0068 code (Bad vacuum hose) Topic is solved

I'm having an issue with the car, it's throwing the code p0068, which looks like the MAF or MAP, further research leads to the problem may be the ETM, unsure about that one. Thing began acting odd when driving, such as, hitting a speed bump and the engine shutting off. Now it has a rough idle and it...

Re: 02 V70 brake issue Topic is solved

It was the front springs, installed wrong. Google searched for pictures of the front springs and it was clear that I had installed them incorrectly so in combination with that and vacuum leak off of the booster that was the problem

Re: 02 V70 brake issue Topic is solved

Here is the update. I removed the booster, when the leak was in fact, at the little cylinder module at the 10 oclock area of the booster. The new booster didn't have a gasket and when I removed it, the gasket stayed stuck in the old booster. So that is fixed, no more vacuum leak. But STILL the brake...

Thanks, I'll add that to things to check out. There's all New fluid in the lines, I used about 2 quarts of fluid so far. Will report back tonight.
