It isn't a Volvo thing. Every car can pass with one monitor not ready, and pre 2001 can have two not ready That's an EPA ruling which most states follow Try 5 that were not ready. It's definitely a Volvo thing for a '98 V70. :shock: And the kicker is they would not get in the "ready" mode...

I am wondering if disconnecting the AWD in my V70 would help with mileage, performance, and driveability. The car is a pavement queen and will never see snow/ice/muddy conditions.
