Re: Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit
Okay, after finding the correct wiring diagram (I was looking at the DENSO management system instead of ME7, I confirmed continuity from the CPS connector to the ECM. Went back through the steps. Still showing 5v at the power and signal wires. Unless anyone has a better idea, I think I am going to t...

Re: Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit
Found a wiring diagram and finally got the ECM out. Looks like the ground from the CPS to pin 3 (ground) has continuity to pin 65, but the others do not (pin 57 for power and 47 for the signal). Must be a break in those wires somewhere, although I don't know how they were showing voltage before? I a...

Re: Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit
Both pin 2 and pin 3 read 5v, not battery voltage. Using the instructions, I think I am at the verification section which says to check the cable between sensor terminal 3 and ECM A36. Problem is that my A36 is a blank slot!! There is no wire going to it for me to be able to test for an open circuit...

Re: Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit
I have a 99 V70XC with the same code. Both wires 2 and 3 read 5 volts when I perform the tests. Any ideas?
