Hi everybody,
I have Volvo v70 ,2000 familial, I have a problems with gear position sensor which gives a faulty signal to the transmission.
my mechanic said this is common problem with this model, and simply the contacts of the sensor( solenoid) should be cleaning.

Does any one where is the sensor ...

I have Volvo v70 ,2000 familial. I parked my car almost two months this summer, but when I tried to start up the car I noticed the flashing arrow ( the arrow which shows I am on low gear ) is always flashing. and whe I drive the car, it looks like the car starts from the third gear ...

I left my volvo V70 and tried to lock it with my key as usual ( I do not have remote locking ), but I could not, the key can turn freely at right or left direction 380 degree without locking the car, I can lock the car from inside but not from outside. I have to always keep the car unlocked.
