I have a 2003 S40 and it does the same thing. This model S40 is very low therefore it easily scapes . In winter it is worse. I often hit those snow chunks that fall off other cars. Just the way their made.

I got an S-40 2003 and my driver side headlight wiper is stuck in the upward position. Does anybody know if this can easily be fixed or is it a major expensive repair?

I got a 2003 S40 and one thing about this car that really bothers me. In winter when there is that snow bump in the middle of the road between the tires the bottom of the car rubs. Is this car that low or is there something wrong with my car? It doesn't take much snow for it to rub either.

Unfortunetly it is my evaporator. My mechanic is a Volvo specialist
and says its the first time he's had to change one on a S40. My crap luck.
Will cost me $1145.00 + tx CDN.

I have a 2003 S40 with side air bags(SIPS) on the side of the seat. Is there anything I should do differently from how you changed your cushion.I just need to change the bottom one like you.

Has anyone heard of loosing freon and they can't find the leak?
