Well, the seller I bought it from on ebay was nice enough to take my useless blue-light DICE back. It's in the mail now back to China, and he's going to send me the multi-colored version.

Well, the seller I bought it from on ebay was nice enough to take my useless blue-light DICE back. It's in the mail now back to China, and he's going to send me the multi-colored version.

To recap -- plugging my blue-light DICE into the USB with no 12V adapter will light it up. The virtual computer (and my normal computer) recognizes it as "Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COM3)." However, VIDA and the DICE diagnostic programs act as if I have nothing plugged in.

I think I have the same problem as you. VIDA, and everything else on my virtual computer, will not recognize my all-blue-led DICE. I don't have the drivers you mentioned, but I'll begin looking for them and will post them if I find them.

Hi. Thanks for all of the suggestions. It turns out I did have a cut wire coming from the ECM to the modules that were registering the errors. Once I found and soldered it together the car ran perfectly again.
