if you haven't solved this I would try MAF sensor, it tends to do weird things with out a check engine light or codes, used are fairly cheap on ebay

Looking for volvo's S80 years between 2007 and 2015 that are wrecked, damaged, bad engine transmission or just beat up, but I do need front end parts to be in tact such as hood fenders lights bumper.

if possible to run the codes again do that if it still comes back as MAF, check your wiring for the sensor. its also possible you got a defected MAF sensor

everything should fit right in only issue I can think of is the the front seats, the wiring could be different and you will need to use your original driver seat module. otherwise its all the same stuff
