Re: 2004 S60 ECM-4801 Cat. Faulty Signal. includes waveform
We got this car - or were more or less forced to take this car - really cheap. I hade to change the heater core.... Hope you never have to!!!! It was a pain and in the end, I hade to take out the steering column to be able to push in the pipes to the core. Nasty work - that cannot be done with one p...

Re: 2004 S60 ECM-4801 Cat. Faulty Signal. includes waveform
VTL's evidence and experience points to exhaust leak, but he also warns of warping of exhaust manifold due to age/mileage. Thanks for the reply! Warping - meaning that the exhaust manifold could be bent or damaged, cracked perhaps? Its so hard to see and I would need to have it on the lift to be ab...

Re: 2004 S60 ECM-4801 Cat. Faulty Signal. includes waveform
Hi xHeart! Did you ever find the problem? I have 2001 turbo, with intremittent ECM-4801. It seems the fault has been there for years (we got the car only couple of months ago), finding old readings in the car. I did plug in the smoke machine I have done and found a small air leak somewhere around tu...

Re: Help needed to find correct wiring to ignition switch V70 1997
Hi Erik Thank you - I did find the wiring diagram for 1998 - and tried that. The number 50: GR-R on the diagram is actually Y-W on mine too (as on Rgiere's in one of the links you provided - thank you) Nothing. Absolutely nothing happened when I turned ignition on. So after reading your link - perha...

Help needed to find correct wiring to ignition switch V70 1997
Hi
I messed up and lost the correct order of wiring behind the ignition switch.
Could someone with a V70 from 1997 take a picture of what order they are connected?
My colours look like this (the order isnt correct).

Re: ECM-P000BD ECM-P0299
Second hand rocker cover solved the problem.
Wonder how common this is? If its the cover thats problem or something underlying.......

Re: ECM-P000BD ECM-P0299
I have found out that at >2500 rpm - there is pressure in the rocker cover and it blows out air from one of the inlet side, screw holes on the rocker cover/inlet manifold. There is no vacuum =( I have already changed the gasket - du to the owner finding small oil leak and bubles filling spit in the ...

ECM-P000BD ECM-P0299
Hi 2.4 D5 from 2010 with 375300 km Limb home mode. Fault codes: ECM-P000BD00 and ECM-P029900 I have done a smoke leak detection test - and could not see any smoke coming out anywhere! Vida says that if those both fault codes are present at the same time - it must be a air leak, between turbo and thr...

Re: V70 mk1 from 2000 - drivers door lock cylinder in pieces
No sorry - know I remember - I went to the scrap yard and got on other cylinder and key.
There was no repair kits for Volvo - or I needed to get it ready before I could get the repair kit here.
This is how other repair kits look like though:
