Power Window Sluggish - 1994 - 850 Wagon
I have a 1994 850 Wagon and the drivers power window does not like the cold weather. It goes down about half way and stops. I can push it the rest of the way with a fair amount of force. It comes back up just fine. It works okay in warm weather but is a little sluggish. I did a search on this forum ...

Is TRACS normally noisy?
I have a '94 850 wagon turbo with about 103K miles on it. I bought it last spring and now have had my first experience with driving on snow and ice. I hit the winter button (which I understand puts it in 3rd gear) and the TRACS button. I got around okay but it was hard to tell if the TRACS was worki...

Is it good idea to reset computer?
Quick question - when you replace an O2 or MAF sensor is it necessary or a good idea to unplug the battery to reset the computer? I've got a 94 850 turbo. Thanks.

Update - The wheels of progress turn kind of slow sometimes in my household. I tried cleaning the MAF and that did not help. So, I installed a new universal front oxygen sensor and so far the O2 codes and catalytic converter codes have not reappeared and the surging is gone. Plus, the car is running...

Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try. I've got a '94 850 turbo that I bought a few months ago and when I bought it the CEL was on and I got numerous error codes. I found some vacuum leaks which I fixed and cleared the codes and CEL light and the CEL has not been on since. However, I just checked ...

How do you test an O2 sensor?
How do you test an O2 sensor to determine if it needs to be replaced? I assume you check voltage. If so, across which wires and under what conditions? What is pass/fail? Thanks.
