Appreciate that however I removed the multi pin connector from the ignition and still had the problem. That too was my first thought, I'm more concerned that it may be the multi pin connector itself. Tracing those wires is like looking into a spaghetti bowl!

Turned key(engine) off removed from ignition blower , lights ra and radio stayed on.

Wiggled steering wheel back and forth(in locked position) radio, blower turned off, lights stayed on, eventually moving wires under steering column and wiggling things got everything to turn off.

Problem kept ...

My rear defrost and heated mirrors have never worked since I bought this vehicle used. I noticed one day while night driving the light on the defrost/mirror switch was flickering, so I figured the switch was bad.
I bought a used one and it now is doing the same thing, if I activate it it will light ...

To date 2 tanks of fuel and mileage has increased to 27.6 and a flat 28 do an average increase of 2.8 mpg.

I would say heater core. Mine was just begining to leak and very little antifreeze leaked out.

Just tonight I did this fix as well. The aluminum tube from the manifold to the aorbox got trashed this winter while I was working on the car and I never replaced it, it never dawned on me about the thermostat in the airbox!!

To date on my commute of 60 miles round trip 54 are interstate and 6 city ...

The Alpine is a 6 disc CD changer only, it looks like a clone of the Volvo 6 disc changer. I thought they may even be the same.
Today I have the am/fm/tape SC813 in my car.

Guy at work has one for $50 bucks.
What do I need to make this work in my Volvo, or will it?
I understand there are a lot of compatability issues that I will need to address I think.

I remebered a post where a guy replaced his heated seat elements w/pics...and you guessed it I saw the little bugger in one of his pics......so a bit a shallow victory but a victory none the less......

Found it, it is for the memory seat.
Plugs into back of the motor, no idea how it came unplugged but I now have an 850 equipped with a memory seat that works!!

Next quest :heated seat!!
