I'm afraid our i906 Volvo scanner doesn't have VIDA/DICE capability.
It's a DIY code reader mainly for reading and clearing fault codes and reading datastream.

i keep both VIDA and autocom CDP bluetooth. autocom cdp is really a nice and cheap tool in the aftermaket. The price is down, i paid half less price then yours, cheap 50 euro with latest software 2014.R3 (03/2014)

All VIDA support 1999 up Volvo models, the newer version, the newer vehicle support. If you has win xp laptop, you can choose older VIDA version. If your PC runs Win 7, VIDA current version 2014D can be loaded.
