No ABS light!
Owned this 98 S70 T5 for 16 months with ABS on the whole time. Finally took it off and sent it to Midwest ABS. Probably psychological, but braking feels better.

Thank you for that. Including S60's makes it easier to find a junkyard (newer) one. I found a 1998 Brochure and even base S70 and S80 had 8 speakers so trim level is not an issue. Lucky enough to have 2 S70s in a local Pick-n-Pull. There is also a 2004 S60 which just happens to be a T5 manual!

As in by year and/or trim level.
My right rear produces no sound. Hooked up a cheap meter to the wires and there is changing voltage

Went crazy on last rattle.
Cut this mount out where the end of the console goes in S70.
Worked!

Drove the 1998 T5 Manual 1300 miles round trip from Sacramento to St. George Utah. No problems, 25-28 MPG driving 72-78 mph and mostly at 4000 ft elevation with many passes at 6500-7700. Hit 159k miles on the way there. Thought I used 3/4 qt on way there, so added a full qt for drive back thinking ...

After welding on the new front wall, I could design the structure inside to install a plexi window.


For an old truck camper shell back window I went with Polycarbonate (Lexan). It might fine scratch more than plexiglass, but is much stronger.

Started over using new orings and the tool to open up the spring lock which you can see in photo is now over drier lip. Probably not needed, but added safety strap.
Vacuumed it out and let it sit overnight with gauge. Lost 2 psi!😞.

I had a new 1999 C70 HT Manual. When i picked it up at the dealer the owner told me the clutch on these engages at the top and quickly after that. He was right. Fast forward I recently bought a 1998 s70 T5 manual with 157k miles and it engages ...

Did not use tool to reinstall connector. Probably let gas escape to start over using tool since i also might have damaged inner oring.
Could combine your hose clamp idea with wire to make a safety lock.
