How far should the turbo guage needle reach? Mine only goes up to HALF of the WHITE AREA.

Trying to figure out if this is a good basis that my turbo is leaking.

I think the transmissions post 1998 are adaptive transmissions. Meaning it will automatically adapt with the driver's driving style.

Thanks for the picture and help akita. I checked mine and my connectors are are all intact as well as the tubing. I'm still hearing the noise. It may not be a lifter noise... It does sound like a lifter to me but with the way it only does it only under certain conditions makes me question weather it could be one. I now have a RED 1997 850 T5 on my driveway. I think it is in good shape for a 10 year old with 77K miles.
