Thank you for that reply. I actually tried that, thinking that is was similar to a tall screw. So I turned it left (counter clockwise) and the the loop at the top broke right off!! I guess it must be rusted tight down where it connects. Hopefully I can get under the car and lossen it underneath. Or ...
