Motor will fire after much cranking but has zero pick up, just stutters then dies; maybe a clue for some one to recognize and relate a solution here.................maybe.

My Dog Wagon is not running. Code reader (I-CarSoft) found rear camshaft position sensor fault. I've changed it out with no good effect and code reader now says front camshaft position sensor fault. I can't find reference to that sensor anywhere, so I still have a dead car.

Any clues out there ...

Thanks JD. I have an iCarsoft scanner i906. Is this an insufficient device as it only saw the exhaust sensor first and then the inlet after replacing the ex ?? Bit of a drag having to go back into the same zone so to speak. Also, as to the position of the inlet sensor, I hope to find it mirroring ...

Waal, changed out with a cheap and nasty. Still have klunk, so I'll have to gouge the other mounts I suppose, dammit !!

And what's the secret for disconnecting the plug from the boost pressure sensor P0236/7/1600 item. Seems as if a good squeeze should release but it ain't.......Any clues out there ...

The pictures show what fell off in my hand and where it was.

On drive shaft, there is s tiny amount of rotational slack and 3/8' longitudinal. Is that sign of knackeredness ??

Done oil change and 400 miles. Problem's not recurred and shifting is so much smoother.
