Rear seat belt replacement

I had to completely cut one of the rear seat belts as I didn't have any tools to undo the bolt and it was stuck in the down position and needed to fit a child's car seat for a journey. So, now I need a new belt from a yard. What's the best way to remove a good belt from a yard seat and then fit it a...

Re: Clunk when cold engaging drive

When I rock the wheels with my foot I do get kind of a clicking sound though it's not exactly the same as the clunk when driving but that could be a speed thing. Is it dangerous at all? It looks like a simple change, you just take a bolt out, puts new one in, and torque. I assume if the bolt were to...

Re: Clunk when cold engaging drive

Would axle ping disappear when the engine is warmed up? When warm if I go to park and then back into D there is no clunk

Clunk when cold engaging drive

The head of the engine was replaced recently is (had a timing belt/water pump failure that bent all the valves so we got a used engine from the yard).
Since then, when the car is cold, there is a big clunk on engaging drive. It goes away when warm.
Any ideas what it could be?

Re: Clunking sound front wheels

The rattle is resolved - it was the link kit (turn stabilizer).
However, there's still a clunk.
It happens most when coming to a stop and then accelerating hard but doesn't always happen.
Sometimes a clunk, sometimes sounds more like a short sharp creaking sound.

Re: Rear wiper nozzle direction?

Wiper motor spraying up.
I'm almost certain it used to be on the left until I changed the motor. Maybe the positioning is based on the replacement motor and not the computer?

Re: Rear wiper nozzle direction?

I replaced the motor a couple years ago and in the process somehow got it to park on the right.
So, obviously there's a way to reset it but don't know how.

Rear wiper nozzle direction?

The rear wiper spray nozzle seems to be pointing down instead of up (probably got iced up in the winter). How can I reposition it? Also, my current blade starting position seems to be on the right whereas in some videos I see it on the left - is there a way to reset the starting position with the ig...

Re: Replace remote starter and remove alarm

Will unplugging it prevent the alarm error message appearing in the dash notice?
Yeah it's after market but not sure which brand. Volvo fitted it a long time back

Replace remote starter and remove alarm

For a few years now, I've had the "alarm needs service" message and last year the remote starter stopped working (tried replacing batteries in remotes but no luck). So, I would like to rip out what's there and replace with a new one. The alarm I find useless anyway. How can I disconnect th...
