The plugs look ok and I just replaced them with OEM Volvo branded plugs 500mi ago. I am going to check out the intercooler pipe and turbo play next.

I did not clean the PTC because nothing looked too plugged up throughout the PCV system as a whole. I will clean it.

Some days it smokes right after I start it and doesn't stop. It smokes most at idle and doesn't get worse with acceleration or deceleration. Then It can go a day or two with no smoke at all.

I did have the hoses switched on top of the oil trap. After I switched them the glove still blew up for some reason until it ran for 5 minuets. Thanks everyone for the information. I did do a compression test last month when I got the car because plugs would die on me. It was fine and since then I have upgraded to OEM plugs, wires, cap & rotor. I only paid $500 for this car because it needed work.....I love this car.

Oh Boy!! I think I might have the 2 hoses on the top of the oil trap/box reversed. Im guessing they need to be on the correct port on the top of plastic trap correct? Its not open plastic box inside like I thought, it must have a baffle that separates the two top hose ports?

I used a shop vac to get any loose flakes out of the holes before attaching new hoses and oil came out of the bottom port from the pressure of the shop vac, so its not plugged. The hoses are on correct. I will research return port.
