I replaced the cabin blower fan today even though I was a bit pressed for time. When I removed the old fan, I saw about 4-5 fl oz of water at the bottom of the white duct where the fan sits. I'm still following this topic as fuel economy is always interesting.
However, my guess is you'll lose the money you save here and now by over-inflating your tires to the additional wear on them.
Short term saving might lead to a long term loss. Just saying
