Look up there and see if it needs clean up. There might be something jamming the track.
It has been shut for nearly 8 years. I'm going to look in from the top

Re: V70 XC sunroof not working

I was thinking that the reset is oversensitive. Because it's not like it is hitting anything that I can hear/see. It starts to open normally but there's some type of override it seems.

Is this the same issue you are having? Been happening for nearly 6 months on my car and I am too lazy to fix it.

V70 XC sunroof not working

So, after owning this car for many years, and previous owner telling me the sunroof just doesn't work, I finally decided to see if it was just the fuse. It turns out the fuse was missing so when I replaced it I tried to see if the sunroof is open. But when I press the button the sunroof goes back ma...

It is a 21 gallon tank, so I was getting about 23-24 miles to the gallon highway. Bought the car for the large tank, I do a lot of long distance!

Update on 960 + Questions on maintenance

So, Hello again! Unfortunately I bring bad news. My 960, that my husband was driving and the first volvo I ever owned it sitting in a junkyard off I-95 in New Jersey. And of course it was right in between my NY and PA homes, so go figure it was the same price to tow it in both directions. So I was d...

Volvo 960 car phone?

Did the 97 960 ever come with a car phone as an option? I'm only wondering because in my car, coming out of the panel on the passenger side there is an aux cord and a telephone chord. I thought this may be for the cd changer but everything I've read says it was mounted in the hatch. Anyone know what...

Shifter skipping

Gear selector skipping neutral, car shifts into neutral, but shifting to reverse from neutral slams the car into reverse. You have to wiggle the shifter into neutral as it indicates reverse in the neutral position. Also, reverse lights don't come on. Help?

Re: Light issues

So, I ordered the socket for the bulb, one of the prongs was broken, but what about the reverse lights? I removed the passenger side one, and then once i replaced it, neither reverse lights came on.

Re: Light issues

"was replacing tail light because message kept flashing in dashboard. Message only flashes when car is running, removed one reverse light, and 1 remained on, replaced, and suddenly both reverse lights wouldn't come on, and message remains flashing"
