Well, after serious mind boggling evenings, i have figured out what was going on. This valve also has.some control over the egr system as well. Now if i could figure out where the PURPLE vacuum is supposed to go that would eliminate that Mystery thingy. What is that part called that it connects to in line with the pcv

Ok so chexk this out. My vacuum diagram us such as i attached. Second issue i woild love to eliminate the mystery thingy, except there is an electril 2 prong plug identical to the VVIS plug on the air box.
I will ditch stand it and see .. stand by

I have this diagram, my question, more clearly is there is ANOTHER valve that is run to the vacuum tree AND the second valve in line on the pcv from valve cover . Which is labled in 3 rd pic as "mystery"
I even had Mr. Robert Diy from you tube come to my house amd look at it amd scratch his head amd ...

I have a 1994 850 volvo NON turbo. I have been rehabbing it and it has 150k for miles. I had an idle issue and a friend said the code was for a Maf sensor. Replaced witha used ine from a car with 50k. Problem got worse. Now it wont idle at all. Installed new TPs, same issue. Codes are A1
