Bumper and Bumper Cover Interchange 1998 v90

Good afternoon All, I recently got a 1998 v90 with a smashed in rear bumper and bumper cover and the online parts website for Volvo states that the bumper and bumper cover have the same part number over 1995-1997 960's. Unfortunately, the parts do not fit. I got the bumper brackets, bumper and bumpe...

Re: 940 stalls out

Does this tend to only happen when there is less than a 1/2 tank of fuel? If so, I would be keen to check operation of the in-tank fuel pump as it may not be supplementing the underbody, inline fuel pump as it should. The two fuel pumps should be on the same fuse circuit so if one works then they bo...

Re: VSS Connector options

Any input would be great, It looks like I may just head to the autoparts store and get a 2 pin and see what I can do.

VSS Connector options

Hello all, I'm in need of a vss connector for a 1991 940 but I can not find it in any stores, the original sensor was cut out at some point. It is a 2 prong female sensor, if anyone could provide a part number or another vehicle's that would fit or even a generic connector that works, it would be gr...

Re: 91 940 Intank Fuel Pump powered?

Sorry if I was not clear, the in-tank pump is brand new and is currently installed in the tank, it just isn't wired. The previous owner left a pump in there and cut the wires to it. I replaced both fuel pumps and the fuel filter. I just need to know how/when the in-tank receives a signal to be on. I...

Re: 91 940 Intank Fuel Pump powered?

Hey lummert, Thanks for the reply and it is a 1991 volvo 940 gle. The previous owner deleted the in-tank fuel pump, possibly intentionally, but based off of the other shoddy wiring and shortcuts, I would presume it was most likely an oversight. The in-line fuel pump can not pull more than half of th...

91 940 Intank Fuel Pump powered?

Hey Guys, I am in need of a document for when the in tank fuel pump receives power. The previous owner of the vehicle did an engine swap and bastardized the entire wire harness of the vehicle, there are no volvo relays of any kind at the moment. I traced the wires for the in tank pump into the spare...

1991 940 front swaybar endlink OEM options?

Hey Guys, I just picked up a new-to-me 1991 940 wagon and it needs at a minimum, front sway bar endlinks as they have rusted out. I see IpdUSA is a big and well known parts supplier but their 2 reviews for the "pin-style" endlinks have me less than eager to buy from them, are there other OEM or afte...
