2005 S60 Coolant Reservoir Leak

Its been awhile since posting on the site but I still have my 2005 S60 in which I maintained myself throughout these years. But now I'm looking to solve one more problem which is a coolant leak. Let me just start that its not the water pump. The leak is from the reservoir area. I replace the cap, th...

ABS BCM message failure

2005 S60 2.5T 140k
So six months ago I decided to replace the ABS pump motor with a junkyard donor. It worked for these six months but the doomed message has appeared again this week.
Has anyone found a solution?
Has anyone used Xemodex or another company and refurbished the unit?

My passenger side mirror is very shaky at highway speeds. It is just the actual mirror that shakes and not the entire casing. If I take off the shell of the mirror would I find a screw or two that needs to be tightened?

“Had to recheck. The strut itself (no spring) is interchangeable between S60 and S80.” After thinking about this if the struts are the same size then there would be no change to the camber angle. The only difference would be the spring and it’s tension to change how stiff the ride would feel. Agree?

I read on the past that a Volvo model(perhaps a S80) has the same issue as yours and the solution was to cover the wire going to the starter or even re route it. The wire was throwing off the electrical measurements on the crank sensor.

I would suspect a bad MAF sensor. The sensor is between the air filter box and the throttle. Just unplug it and run the car. If it runs! Then that sensor needs to be replaced. Try this first as it won't cost anything.

Any tutorial guide Flame Trap? S60

I'm researching replacing the flame trap for a 2005 S60 2.5T. IPDUSA has a kit, but I can't find a tutorial. Any advice/suggestions are welcomed.

It is behind the bumper just in front of your passenger tire. You must remove the plastic liner that is held in by rivets.

There is no PCV value. There is the Oil Trap which is located below the intake and bolted to the engine. If it was clogged, you would have pressure trying to push your oil cap off.
It sounds like something else is your issue.

I can't understand that the lower gear spun off. Maybe the tensioner failed.
I would consider another opinion. If the engine is shot, I would invest in another car.

Just an observation.
The other day I took the top of the air box off. The engine was running and I just placed my hand over the MAF vent. I felt no suction, no feeling of air running over my fingers, no sound of air being sucked in. But the car stalled and stopped.

Is this normal operation?

# 6 is the last one that's on your driver side.
Its an in-line 6 meaning they are numbered 1,2,3,4,5,6 starting at the passenger side (#1) and ending on the driver's side (#6).
