Check the LH (shortest) axle shaft. It can't just be inserted into the transmission. It has to be SEATED. There's a locking retainer clip that needs to be in a certain depth in the transmission. If not, the car just won't move at all. Don't just try to hammer the axle in from the wheel locking bolt....

I know this question is almost 5 years old, but I did a search for this just yesterday because I had the same problem and it was unfortunate that it was never answered. Well, I worked my way through the issue, so I thought I would post what I learned... Short version: Use multimeter (ohm/resistance)...
