The compression is fine. Compression refers to cylinder pressure test. Fuel pressure is tested at the fuel rail. I'm assuming your volvo has LH 2.4 setup. So, what code(s) does EZK/LH-2.4 show? The symptoms mentioned suggests a lean mixture. Im not too good with cars, but i can't test the fuel rail...
