Changing the rubber shift lever on 960
I bought a new rubber shift lever cover for the automatic transmission, and I need some advice on replacing it. It looks like it pulls straight up and off, but I don't want to break anything. Thanks!

Hello All. I just bought my first Volvo, a very nice low mileage '96 960. I bought a new rubber shift lever cover for the automatic transmission, and I need some advice on replacing it. It looks like it pulls straight up and off, but I don't want to break anything. Thanks!
