Who the heck takes 2 straps holding a tank up and use 1 anchor point for both straps. In what world was that a good idea? It should have been easy to do this ...

I just went and grabbed a napa axle. Already replaced it, I'll hold onto mine to see about finding someone to rebuild it if possible. (seems to ride ok so far)

My only concern with sourcing a used axle is the unknown.. I could and probably should replace the boot and grease in it,
I'm just not confident that it would be trouble free and possibly be no better than a aftermarket one.

Is the ABS tone ring built into your axle or does it press on or other wise attach to the axle? My 2001 V70 does not have a tone ring on the axle.
