Re: 01 V70 T5 stuck in Park???? Wife MAD!
well turns out their are 2 lock mechanisms in the shifter. one activates when you hit the brake, and it is working. the other works when you turn the key to position 2, this one was frozen from spilled drinks, and luckly this one is a longer shaft along the side of the shifter which you can reach an...

Re: 01 V70 front control arm bushing
450 seems high to me. but I tend to work quickly and i had mine finished in about 1.5hrs time. I had planned on having it pressed in, but wanted to try first heating it. and it was quite simple, but I would recomend having access to a press as a backup just in case. My local Napa has a press they wi...

Re: 01 V70 front control arm bushing
I replaced mine in my 01 T5 last month and it was acctually very simple with NO press at all. i used a drill to drill out as much of the old rubber i could so I could remove the center of the old mount, then used a hack saw to split the outer ring on the old bushing, now the bushing will just fall o...

1999 s80 t6 Knocks and loss of power
i am looking at a 99 s80 T6 as a project car, the car has 127k on it and is in very good condition except it knocks and doesn't have much power, also some smoke, the knock is mostly heard thru the exhaust, not from the engine bay? the guy is asking $2000 for the car and I am pretty sure I can get it...

I will be doing this on my 01 V70, you will need a press to do this job. if you have access to a press it is a fairly simple job. to remove the bushings I recomend cutting them out so you don't damage the arm, Use a hack saw to cut the metal ring, if yours are like mine the rubber bushing is totaly ...

I assume it is from the new speing seat but I could not get it less then about the 1/4. I also had a ratt...
