Are the ring terminals still hanging in the air, Or are they tucked up under the carpet screwed into the bodywork? I no doubt imagine the specialists charged you to ‘delete the errors in the software’ ?

Yes, I have the obd2 in the console, but I also have the obd1(??) in the engine bay with the jumper wire and LED, I take it that’s not the norm.

No obd2 usefulness with Fenix 5.2.
Cruise, Auto, ABS, SRS , Climate, but nothing engine related.

Good spotting. I imagine it to be a wonderful surprise to have no warning until the steam came out the front. They look to be the ground terminals, under the carpet there will be some bolts/screws into the metal work that are in a position that lines up with those ring terminals. They have the same numbers - I checked. But like you I thought they maybe triggered differently. I assume they are triggered electrically through all years. I think I remember a cable travelling up the B pillar...

I found one a couple of months ago, painted to match and installed. Works fantastically. In my mind window tinting looks cheap, blinds say ‘luxury’. I thought I’d found a unicorn, maybe not so in the US?

However you manage it ,Timesert over helicoil every time. Helicoil lines a worn thread, Time sert is a new thread. Follow instructions (use good oil) and it’s $80+ of insurance well spent. Plus you’ll always find more worn threads.

Should have spent the 10 mins to check... Looks like the grub screws are there to retain and also allow door gap adjustment. Plenty of Loctite to hold in its position if a few threads backed out. Stole one from the rear door. Will have to find a grub screw to replace that one now. I Didn’t think tho...

From the wiring diagram - it might be just a generic symbol - but it looks like a square wave signal.
I don’t a graphic meter or oscilloscope to measure for you. But I would think it’s more likely a variable frequency square wave pulse summed directly from the abs sensors.

I’ve looked and looked...

To be clear - I’m after the physical path the hose takes as it transverses the bay and through the fire wall ie which nipple on which rubber ended conduit it passes through. I don’t want to just cable tie a hose on to random parts and lines.

OP wants to retain CD changer as well.

The Grom uses that din port on the head unit, so changer is left unusable.

My “box” accepts the Grom/Yatour din plug AND the changer din plug so you can use both, you select which one has priority.

In my ‘96 850 it was plug and play. No trip to the dealer needed. Averaging between 20-22 mpg since keeping track. I was the first person in over 20 years to get the trip computer activated at the dealership.
They charged 1/2 hr and ‘tester’ fee - total was probably 10% of cars entire value.
But a fabulous thing to fool with when highway driving... 35.6mpg over 300 mile test drive

Bifuel is too binary, ‘Car’ (non specific name ) prefers ‘pan fuel’.

The picture is upside down so wheel is right way up for us, it’s a bugger keeping the coolant in when your upside down. Luckily with the coriolis effect the water screws itself in as it runs out. :mrgreen:

Things like hose 3 not needed and the trap is different - again the 10v doesn’t exist in North America, you’ll have to source parts for it from Europe. Or if it’s cheaper from US ,I suppose you can not use some and modify other parts.

Fuel usage has been high since before I undertook any work, I use a fuel tracker app , I don't have the trip computer. CNG tank was removed before car was imported into the country, but its first 14 years in the U.K. it would have definitely been driven on both fuels. Can't say exactly when it start...

Sensor is located where a MAF would be on a P2 car. Find the air box, big round tube coming out the left side - sensor is two wire (usually blue coloured plug) right on the top of that.
